The rocket for Flight C-17 awaiting launch, the first flight of the '80s decade.
All previous flights were propelled by either a 60/40 or 61/39 oxidizer/fuel ratio. This was the first flight test of a slightly enriched 62/38 mixture. It was not until Flight C-25 that the de facto standard ratio of 65/35 was used in flight, after a series of static tests confirmed a higher performance for this ratio...
