PHOTO 40-- Flight A-1 : February 26, 1972


My very first amateur experimental rocket flight, on a cold Manitoba winter morning!
The rocket, only about 19 inches (48 cm.) in length, and made from steel tubing, is barely visible within the launcher. The motor was only partly filled for this first flight, with about 25 grams of propellant. The snapshot of the launch was, well, not very good...but I got better at this...
