PHOTO 39 -- Pressure-burnrate test apparatus, Jan. 1986
PHOTO 39This photo details a part of the pressure-burnrate test apparatus that was shown in the previous photograph (38). This component holds the strand of propellant (tan coloured item) and provides for attachments to the igniter and thermocouple sensors. The fitting at the right end allows for pressurization of the vessel with nitrogen gas.
