 | This apparatus was developed for static (ground) testing of my rocket motors. The motor, mounted as shown, is fired with nozzle pointing upward. A strain gauge based data acquisition system, interfaced to a computer, records the thrust v.s. time characteristics of the motor. The orange coloured box is part of the electrical igniter system for the motor. |
